Simplify access to arctic data with ArcticWeb
ArcticWeb is a free online geoportal integrating Arctic-related public and private data sources relevant for the E&P industry. The aim is to simplify access to data by making terms searchable from multiple sources at once.

ArcticWeb is a joint-industry project started in Norway and sponsored by Statoil, ConocoPhillips, BG Group, ENI, Lundin, Spring Energy and Shell. It began after the major players in the Norwegian exploration arena found there was no simple way to find and access the wide variety of public data sources in the region. The consultancy firm Acona was chosen to manage the project, and Whereoil software, developed and maintained by the technology firm KADME, is used for the technological solution.
