Principles of risk management are to create value, whilst controlling the risks and to integrate Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) aspects into decision taking processes. Risk management is an integrated part of the organizational processes both in day to day operations and in longer term planning.

Risk management systems should be transparent and inclusive, dynamic, iterative, responsive to change and able to be improved and enhanced. Acona contributes to improving clients’ performance by assisting with identification of threats, assessment and development of management systems, monitoring systems and training. Our primary objective is to assist our clients to be proactive in identifying business challenges, and then to find cost effective solutions. RISK MANAGEMENT PROCEDURES Acona's role would be, in cooperation with the client, to propose procedures needed or to review existing procedures. The purpose is to provide risk management procedures tailored to the operations and organization of the client.
TECHNICAL ADVICE Acona can provide expertise to collect and present HSE data as basis for decision taking. We would also be a discussion partner for our clients to review alternative technical or operational solutions.
