On behalf of a client we are seeking a Senior Drilling Engineer 
Duration: 15/02/2023- 12/02/2025
Location: Bærum

Perform drilling engineering technical work in close collaboration with subsurface, projects, Alliance partners, D&W Asset Managers and drilling superintendent. Candidates must be comfortable to change the way we operate our projects into a more digital and LEAN direction. The position holder supports common strategies and will take an active role in our digitalization / improvement agenda, finding smarter and better ways of working.

Minimum M.sc. engineering degree or similar in scientific subjects.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in drilling and wells operations.
• Sound technical understanding of development drilling.
• Good Understanding of LEAN philosophy.
• Good understanding on how digitalization will affect how we work.

• Feasibility reports of drilling options.
• Statement of Requirements (SOR) / Concept Select report.
• Basis of Design documents for directional drilling, casing, cementing, drilling fluids, tubing stress/tubing design etc.
• Develop and manage Risk Register.
• Ensure continuous improvement during planning and operations.
• Perform tasks in accordance with the management system.
• Drilling Programs.
• AFE budget.
• Draft Rig Action Plan.
• Discuss, document, and communicate decisions, dispensations & plan changes.
• Participate in relevant morning calls and RAP meetings.
• Participate in drilling engineering duty work, onshore and offshore, if/when applicable
• Prepare well handover documentation.
• Final well report.
